What can one learn about the prisoners?

They are experienced entrepreneurs and know very well what competition how to maximize profits, will easily tell you about all potential risks and management can arrange other so that everything was done on time and accurately. The only problem is that they worked in the illegal business and so are now behind bars, writes in Business Insider founder and managing Director Blinds.com Jay Steinfeld.  I was recently invited to give a lecture about leadership and personal development programme "Entrepreneurship in the prison Correctional centre in Cleveland, Texas. This was my first acquaintance with so many unused mind. I was amazed at the enthusiasm with which the prisoners welcomed me, what intelligent questions to ask and what sincere note of thanks passed after the lecture.

The program "Entrepreneurship in jail" founded in 2004 by former investor wall street Catherine Rohr, helps prisoners Texas to meet with leading American businessmen, students of business schools and policy makers. The motto of the program speaks volumes about its purpose: "Changing the future through reconciliation with the past". I hope I gave them some important information to think about. Three key thoughts that I made after visiting the prison.
1. You can change yourself, despite the environment. These people change lives in a rather scary and dangerous place. All have a "dark bands", which should take place during the career. Their examples inspire and make re-look at our small everyday complaints, such such as lack of Parking space or the small size of the Cabinet.

2. Attitude is everything. If they can have a positive attitude in prison, without any doubt, we are free obligation to have it. It all starts with the ability to learn from the past and act to change the present. One should start with simple changes in behavior, becoming more well-mannered, inquisitive and binding. Then you can cultivate within yourself longing for perfection.

    3. Everyone needs a support system. Don't believe those who say: "Every man thinks only of himself". Personal success depends on all who surround you, your friends and colleagues. The program "Entrepreneurship in jail" teaches and gives advice to all participants-prisoners after their release helps to integrate into a law-abiding society.

Certainly, their behavior has brought them to prison, but they are taking active steps to make yourself better and to forget about the past. The next time you are feeling sorry for yourself and blame, because they made a mistake, remember it's never too late to make conclusions and move forward.
